As part of the project and reflecting the shared priority of long-term access and maintainability for both Ecovision and Augean, the system design incorporated skylight protection covers and permanent edge protection. These measures ensure safe and practical ongoing maintenance across the facility.
Ecovision worked closely with Augean throughout the design and installation phases to seamlessly integrate these features alongside the solar PV system. This required careful coordination of mounting methods, structural considerations, and waterproofing, as well as alignment with the site’s electrical infrastructure.
The result is a robust, high-performing installation that maximises energy generation while preserving the integrity of the building.
